Half of Guys Would Give a Valentine to a Woman They Knew Was In a Relationship:
According to a new survey by Cupid.com, men are nearly three times more likely than women to go after someone they know is already taken.
Nearly HALF of all men . . . 47% . . . would give a Valentine to a woman they knew was already in a relationship in the hopes of stealing her away.
Only one in six women would use Valentine's Day as an excuse to go after a guy who was already with someone.
Men are also more likely than women to try to start a new relationship with someone on Valentine's Day.
Two thirds of men say they'd be willing to start dating someone on February 14th . . . but only 40% of women would.
45% of Americans Believe in Ghosts . . . and Most of Them Say They've Seen One:
According to a new poll by Huffington Post and YouGov.com, 45% of Americans say they believe in GHOSTS . . . or that spirits of dead people can come back in certain places and situations.
41% of the people polled say they believe they've seen a ghost. Assuming that group completely overlaps with the 45% who believe in ghosts, that means most people who believe in 'em have seen 'em.
The survey also found that 64% of people believe there's an AFTERLIFE.
43% don't believe that ghosts can interact with or hurt living people.
Whatever You Do, Don't Die In New Jersey or Maryland:
New Jersey and Maryland are the only two states in the U.S. that will hit your relatives with an inheritance tax AND an estate tax in 2013.
There are 13 other states that just have an estate tax: Hawaii, Washington, Oregon, Minnesota, Illinois, North Carolina, New York, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, Maine, and Washington D.C.
And six that have an inheritance tax: Kansas, Iowa, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Pennsylvania.
The rest have NO state tax on what you leave to your relatives.
The tax percentages are different from state-to-state, but estate taxes can hit you with up to 16% tax on your inheritance. Inheritance taxes can get you with up to 10%.
