A Man is So Angry About His Wait at Denny's That He Sets Their Christmas Tree On Fire:
Nothing good ever happens in the middle of the night at a Denny's. Nothing.
Around 4:00 A.M. on Sunday morning, a man was eating at Denny's in San Antonio, Texas . . . and apparently he was VERY upset over a long wait for his check.
Keep that in mind. He wasn't waiting for a table, which is infuriating. His food wasn't taking a long time to come out, which is even more infuriating. He'd eaten and he was full, just waiting on the check. That's NOT so infuriating.
So . . . he decided to set the restaurant's CHRISTMAS TREE ON FIRE.
Fortunately, no one was hurt . . . but he did $150,000 in damage. The man got away, and police have been reviewing Denny's security camera footage to try to identify him. He'll be facing arson charges.
A New Mexico Pageant Winner is Arrested For Driving Drunk, Crashing Into a Light Pole, and Knocking Out Power for 1,700 People:
Maybe this woman let the pressure of being voted the most beautiful woman in the 408th largest city in America get to her?
22-year-old Sarah Richardson was crowned Miss Las Cruces, New Mexico last month. That makes her eligible to compete for Miss New Mexico . . . and then Miss America. But all that is OFF now.
Because on Sunday night, Sarah was driving her PT Cruiser while DRUNK . . . and CRASHED into a light pole in Las Cruces. That caused a chain reaction that took down several other poles.
She ended up knocking out power to 1,700 PEOPLE and businesses in the area for several hours.
Sarah was arrested for aggravated DWI and is facing up to 90 days in jail with at least a mandatory 48-hour sentence. Yesterday, she resigned as Miss Las Cruces.
