An Ohio woman who acted like a turkey behind the wheel will have to cook a turkey for cops as part of her punishment.

Valerie Rodgers was convicted on vehicular assault charges after she blew through an intersection during the Canton marathon, making a left turn and blindsiding an officer who was directing traffic away from the race.

While the deputy was not seriously injured, he did have the stuffing knocked out of him – leading a judge to give Rodgers a year's probation, and an order to cook a Thanksgiving dinner for policemen who were on leave and unable to arrange the meal for themselves. We'd call that getting her just desserts.
