Mother's Day Shoppers Suffer Gift Anxiety

Mother's Day is this weekend.

And, RetailMeNot.com Editor Trae Bodge says the latest annual survey reveals there's some stress when it comes to gift selection.

Ninety percent of those surveyed say they're worried Mom might return what they got her for Mother's Day.

But, Bodge says it's actually pretty easy to get mom what she wants.

Most mothers want time with the family, a trip to the spa, a nice meal, or a gift certificate, according to the survey.

The poll also reveals the majority of people will spend an average of $68 on a gift.

Although men are outspending women significantly: sons will spend about $83 compared to $53 daughters will spend.
